Term 3 starts on 13 Jun 2015 and will end on 18 September 2015. This period is a time for reflection and consolidation as students take stock of their progress thus far and review their goals for the year. To provide them with more ownership of their learning, older students can decide which areas they would like to focus on this term.
All students will also be encouraged to create their own repertoire lists for 2015. This is in addition to and different from the 40 Piece Challenge, in that students will shortlist a few pieces that they have already learnt to master and play from memory. Having such pieces ready is useful for when they have to give ‘impromptu’ performances.
